PRISON DANCER Musical Web Series, a Cebu Dancing Inmates Inspired

Before anything else let us reminisce the phenomenon YouTube hit Cebu Dancing Inmates who have been viewed million times. 1,500 plus CPDRC inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, Cebu, Philippines at practice! This is not the final routine, and definitely not a punishment!



Pushing the boundaries of storytelling, PRISON DANCER will change the content of the online series into a “performative cinema” event at its official world premiere on March 15th, 2012 because the closing night gala presentation of the San Francisco International Asian American Film pageant (SFIAAFF). This is the first time an internet series will be presented as  the closing night gala presentation at a movie festival. The special “performative cinema” event will embrace video, live performances by cast members, and maestro-led audience participation.



Music in our generation nowadays has been a really integral part within the expression of emotions, stories and opinions.
