Otakufest V: Old School Cosplay 2012 Photos

This was my first time to watch a Cosplay competition.  An amazing  and stressed free relieving experience watching anime fanatics gathering and enjoying the event. 

Otakufest V:Old School Cosplay started at around 9 am and was hosted by the University of Philippines. Approximately hundreds of anime fanatic dress as their favorite anime character join the event.

Solo Cosplay Competition

- must portray a personality from any printed work released on or before the year 2000.
Characters from ongoing printed materials are allowed as long as they were 1st released inside the “classic” timeline.

Group Cosplay Competition 
                                       
-follows similar rules and rules as stated within the Solo Cosplay Competition. Every competing group ought to have a most of ten (10) members and a minimum of 2 (2) members. Members of 1 group cannot participate in another group. Every group should conjointly prepare a presentation that ought to not exceed 5 (5) minutes as every minute in excess can represent a deduction of 5 (5) points.
For each cosplay competitions, original characters are automatically disqualified and also the use of hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
